mteSA is a Community Based, Not for Profit Group Training organisation specialising in Traineeships and Apprenticeships. It is run by a board of directors comprised of local business leaders.
Operating under the Group Training Model, mteSA is the legal employer of the Apprentice/Trainee and undertake processes and administration paperwork required to successfully manage the program. This includes;
- Payroll - Wages (Annual Leave Loading where required)
- PAYG Statements
- Industry Superannuation
- Contract of Training with an Apprentice Network Provider
- Registered Training Organisation (e.g. TAFE) enrolment and liaison
In addition to this, mteSA take on the responsibility of monitoring the progress and performance of the employee both on-the-job and off-the-job.
All trades and industry-focused Trainee placements are available. We work closely with local industry and throughout South Australia where the majority of graduates gain ongoing sustainable employment with their Host Employers upon completion of their studies.
Established in 1997, we have qualified staff sharing decades of experience in recruitment, employment, training, and management. Since 1997, mteSA has employed over 3000 Apprentices, Trainees, and labour workers. mteSA has also attained Commonwealth Government Recognition of Standards, which means that it is recognized by State and Federal Governments for meeting the eight standards for a group training organisation.
