Apprenticeships and Traineeships combine on-the-job work with off-the-job training components. They are an excellent career pathway and can be full-time, part-time, or school-based.

Leading to a Nationally Recognised Qualification, they are a great way to combine formal training and employment.

Apprenticeships and Traineeships are available across a wide range of industries and vocations and span over 500 occupations in Australia.

To be eligible, you must be 15 years or older. You can commence an Apprenticeship or Traineeship whilst at school, once you have completed Year 12 or a Vocational Education and Training course, or if you have work experience in an industry sector.
