PUBLIC BENEVOLENT INSTITUTION (PBI)
Under the ACNC, a public benevolent institution (PBI) is a subtype of registered charity. PBIs concentrate on easing a variety of difficulties, including illness, poverty, disability, and distress. They include institutions like hospitals, hospices, services for people with disabilities, structures for the elderly, and low-cost housing for those in need.
